We are starting to know where we are going, and how to find our place without our GPS. We found a nice breakfast place. On Wednesday we started out by going to a flea market. Nothing very interesting at all. Most of the stuff looked like it had been there for three years! Then we made our way to Progresso, Mexico. We parked the car on the U.S. side of the Rio Grande, and paid 25 cents each to cross the river via the International Bridge. As soon as we were in Mexico, we were faced with beggars and folks trying to get us into their dentist or pharmacy. Hard to believe all the dental offices and pharmacies. Drug prices are less than half of what we pay in the States. We had a nice little lunch and did some shopping, but came away with nothing. Then it cost another whole 25 cents to come back across the bridge to the U.S. We've been spending time at the pool, and just relaxing. There are plenty more places to see, but we also have time to see the sights.
We have a cold front coming thru. It's supposed to get down in the mid thirties at night, then back in the mid sixties during the day. It's only supposed to last a couple days, so I guess we can handle that.
