The weather is still pushing 80's. We took our day trip to Port Aransas . Today was mostly enjoying the seashore, and checking out the marina's. We drove the beach on Mustang island. The surf was really rolling. Carol only let me drive a half mile or so on the beach! You can drive the beach for ten miles. Mustang Island goes to Padre island. I think we could have taken the road all the way to Brownsville. On the way back we stopped at U-Hook It restaurant. We each had shrimp salad , the local shrimp not farm raised. One fisherman came in with his catch and the chef prepared it for him, (thus u-hook it. )
