We now have colder temps. Today we can only expect highs around 60!! Yesterday we went to Corpus Christi . We toured the aircraft carrier, USS Lexington. We knew they were big, but seeing it really made us believers. We spent three hours on board. It truly is a floating city--post office, dentist and doctors offices, etc. They also showed a movie about the training that the pilots have to go through. The Texas aquarium was a short walk down the coast. That was also interesting, especially the dolphins. They performed for about ten minutes. It's amazing how they can be trained.
One thing we have encountered since being here--there are not that many restaurants in this entire area. Nothing like in the Toledo area! We haven't been able to find that "mom and pop" place for a good breakfast!
