The past few days have been 70+ degrees, and love the warm weather!! We were invited to go to Pepe's Sunday . The place was packed with "senior citizens". Our food order took two hours( we were told in advance). Pepe's is on the Rio Grande. It kind of reminded us of Put in Bay, but with old folks!! They had two very good bands. During the break a very heavy singer entertained and he was really good. He could really move that overweight body! We enjoyed several margarita's-- lots of fun. Oh, yeah, the food was good too!
Carol finished her spanish lessons, and I have another stained glass class. Hopefully then my dove will be done.
We went to a Valentine's dance Wednesday evening. It was a big band orchestra and these winter Texans really love to dance. Most of the folks were really dressed--long dresses and tuxes. It was a nice change. We also took another trip to Progesso so Carol and our neighbor Sharron could get a manicure and a pedicure. John took me to a nice lounge so we could enjoy a few libations while waiting for the girls. The manicure and pedicure was quite different than what's done in the U.S.
Tomorrow Bob and Milissa should be here. We're looking forward to seeing them. It looks like the weather is going to be nice. Hope they enjoy their stay in the RGV.
