Big Wind?? Or a Tornado??

Well , this past Monday night is a night we will always remember! Carol and my easy livin changed to several days of hell. The storm came thru leaving us with our prize oak tree laying on our family room. The downpour Monday night decided to come thru the breaks in the roof that the oak tree had made. The winds and heavy rain didn't last long. We went out to investigate and assess the damage. We could hardly believe what we were seeing!! The oak was pulled out by the roots, the two large maples were twisted and broken with huge limbs down. The electric meter was ripped off the house with live wires laying in the yard. The garden was buried with with branches. The fence was smashed!! No power, no cable, no air, and no internet!!! What a pain!!We are thankful that we were both okay after seeing the damage done by Mother Nature! It could have been worse.Today, Wednesday, at approximately 5:30 PM the Consumers Power, and cable company arrived, and finally we have our creature comforts!
