Yesterday was kind of laid back day for us. Roy washed the car and the motor home and I cleaned the inside. It's almost like being at the yacht club, everyones so friendly, they stop to chat ,so the project takes longer than expected. We had another Texas barbeque dinner which was okay. When we came back, we went up to a "jam session". Lots of talented folks around here. Guess we had better learn to like "blue grass". Today we were headed for the grocery store "early"this morning and ended up across town discovering that we were near the Iwo Jima Memorial! We had intended to check it out, but hadn't planned on it for today. Roy was looking for a restaurant that was recommended to him for good breakfasts, but we never did find it!. The memorial was quite humbling to actually see the statue up close. We did get a few pictures. and will post them. The temps the last few days have been in the 80's, though we do have a cold front coming and, they are expecting highs in the low 70's. We are finding it hard to get in the Christmas mood, this warm climate really throws off the senses.
This afternoon we spent at the pool, sooooo relaxing! The folding bikes are our transportation in the park. They are really pretty handy and it gives us a bit of exercise!
Merry Christmas
